NOTE: Semisweet chocolate chips are the best. Because the sweetened condensed has a large amount of sugar, the semisweet balances out the flavor.

Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    • 3 cups chocolate chips – (Dark, Peanut Butter or Butterscotch chips can also be substituted)
    • 1 can (14 ounce) Sweetened condensed milk
    • ¼ cup (1/2 stick) Infused Butter
    • 1 cup chopped Walnuts, Pecans or Marshmallows (Optional)
    Directions:
Note: When using a microwave, some have reported creamier results by melting the butter first.
    1. The preferred method is to melt and stir the ingredients using a double boiler. In a pinch, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium heat (50%) until chips are melted, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring twice during the process. Do not Over heat!
    2. Generously grease an 8-inch square glass baking dish. Remove the mixture from the microwave and stir in nuts (optional). Pour into the prepared baking dish. Place in the refrigerator until the fudge has set, usually about 2-3 hours.
    3. Remove from baking dish, cut into squares and enjoy!
