- 1/2 cup (1 stick) infused butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for extra fudginess)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- Melt the infused butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined—don’t overmix. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Optional chocolate boost – Toss in chocolate chips or chunks for pockets of molten chocolate in every bite.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
