Looking after your herb-infused goodies is super important to keep them fresh and potent.

Keep them stored right, and your tinctures or infusions can last ages, even months or years.

Infusions stay powerful way longer than fresh flowers or edibles that might go funky.

How should I store infusions?

All c_binoids break down with exposure to heat, light or air in tinctures, oils, or lotions.

Your goal is to manage these elements to safeguard your items.

Think cool, dark, and sealed storage. Opt for a dark glass container with an airtight lid. If using a mason jar, keep it in a dark place.

Avoid exposure to ultraviolet light or heat as they degrade cannabinoids quickly..

Avoid plastic especially for tinctures. Plastic can leach into your infusions and may alter the flavor.

Storing C_butter or C_oils

The refrigerator or freezer is perfect for keeping c_butter or infused oils. Potency and quality remain intact. (Avoid storing raw herb in the refrigerator to prevent mold growth)

Infusions can be stored for up to 3 weeks in the fridge or around 6 months in the freezer. Remember, fats can still go rancid even when frozen.

Freeze c_butter in ice cube trays for convenient use over time. Take out one cube at a time for cooking enjoyment.

Storing Tinctures

Brown or blue dropper bottles are recommended for storing tinctures. Glycerin-based tinctures are more perishable, so storing them in the refrigerator or freezer is advised.

Labeling & Safety

Many rush through this step, missing its importance. Take a moment now to label your infusions well. Date and describe the contents.  You will thank yourself later.

Also, clearly label it as T_C to avoid unwanted problems.  Keep everyone safe.
